Monthly General Meetings All members are welcome to participate in our Monthly General Meetings that are set at various restaurants around Beirut. This gives us time to catch up with each other and learn about what is happening "behind the scenes" of AWC |
NEW in SEPTEMBER - "The Cake Lair" A spin off of the "What's Cooking" group - this activity will be based only on baking. Recipes will be sent out and shared among the members and monthly get togethers will range from "Bake Off" contests to guest speakers |
Beirut Bookies *now online* These book worms meet monthly to discuss selected books chosen by members of the group. Book discussions are both lively and insightful. |  What's Cooking Recipes are sent out weekly via WhatsApp and members try their hand at making them, trading "secrets" as they go. Once a month, the group meets to taste each other's creations |
Coffeelicious These women visit a variety of places throughout Beirut and surrounding areas to share a cup of coffee with club members and discuss various everyday topics. They especially like the experience of exploring out of the way cafes. |
Material Girls This group meets at a member's home monthly to work on various sewing, and other needlework projects using fabric, yarn, threads, etc. The women help each other with their projects, teach handiwork skills, build relationships and of course have fun!! |
